Inspired by and designed for the contemporary downtown man, UNIS evokes classic American sportswear. Urbane while easy, elegant without affect, Lee’s understated designs don’t ask for attention, rather they suit the man. Produced and manufactured entirely in its home of New York City, UNIS is just the result of a real relationship between designer, craftsmen, and locale.
UNIS is available at it's NoLita & Brooklyn stores, and online at unisnewyork.com.
With nearly everyone in the sporting world tapping into the luxury world for collaborations, and elevating the sporting lifestyle to a new level, Reebok is fast to follow suit and has stepped up to the game with Giorgio Armani, launching a collaborative apparel collection, EA7/Reebok, and a Emporio Armani/Reebok footwear collection.
While luxury collaborations are not new in the industry, Reebok and Giorgio Armani, have a different approach from other collaborations such as Puma and Hussein Chalayan, Sergio Rossi and Alexander McQueen, or adidas Originals and Jeremy Scott, since the Puma and adidas Originals are geared towards lifestyle and Reebok is heading for more of a functional, fitness route. Sure, there is Stella McCartney and adidas, but Reebok and Giorgio Armani will be offering its activewear collection for both men and women.
The collaborative collection will feature both apparel and footwear, and for men, it will be a mix of fitted tank tops, long-sleeve technical tops, running shorts and hoods; for the ladies, there will be harem patns with matching hooded tops, slim-fit fitness pants, running tanks, t-shirts, tights, tunic dresses and more. As for footwear, the co-branded Emporio Armani/Reebok line will offer kicks ranging from dress sneakers to retro court and vintage running models. The capsule collection will include 40 apparel pieces and 15 footwear styles for each gender initially, and the collection is expected to increase in the future.
As Reebok president and chief executive officer Uli Becker described, the collection is a “convergence of fashion and sports”, and it allows Armani to get “sports credentials” while Reebok will get “style credentials”.
The collection is set to hit select stores and gym worldwide in July, so fitness buffs now can hit the treadmill in style. Armani style. And no suiting-up is necessary. via: WWD
Release Date: July 2010
This is one collaboration that I really wish would not happen. The shoes are particularly hideous! No thought went into design for this frankenstein of a shoe. Y-7 and Adidas was an exception those years back, such mediocre attempts at maximizing their base is a terrible idea. Like Nike casual wear, or a YSL skateboard.

What is VJing ?
The definition of VJing is performance which consists in creating moving visual art (often video) on large displays or screens, often at events such as concerts, nightclubs and music festivals, and usually in conjunction with other performance art. This results in a live, multimedia performance that can include music, actors or dancers as well as live and prerecorded video. Also sometimes called «Realtime» or «Realtime Video».

Warwick Saint, was born in South Africa in 1972, an international photographer and director, he shoots fashion, celebrities, portraits, music and advertising campaigns worldwide.
He attended St. Stithian's College, a prestigious boys high school. He headed up the Photographic Society and judiciously used his privileged access to the darkroom by smuggling in his girlfriends. Here he spent many hours developing and perfecting his prints ... and other skills...
In '89, during Warwick's final school year, his father was tragically killed in a car accident. This affected Warwick profoundly by strengthening his ambition and desire to uphold his father's reputation as one of South Africa's most famous Creatives. In '94 he graduated with BA Honors in Art History and Philosophy.
Now, free to pursue his passion, he left South Africa for London. The next four years were spent assisting photographers, trying to learn everything he could from the likes of Nadav Kander and others.
In 1999 his break came from Dutch magazine to shoot 'Elephant Boy.' This put him on the map and a few months later he moved to New York. Since then he has been commissioned to shoot some of the most prestigious advertising campaigns and famous people in the world. He currently lives in Brooklyn with his beautiful wife Patricia.
